When it’s 64 degrees out on the last day of February, and your tempted to just roll down the pavement in sheer joy because you were able to venture out without a jacket, you know it’s time to start stocking up on your Spring favorites! So I thought I’d share a few spring tips I have for you!

Find a great Spring Fragrance

I have never been a fragrance person – one, because 90% of perfumes smell the same to me, and two, because I don’t like the idea of smelling like everyone else. Really, Light Blue and Black Orchid are great, but EVERYONE is wearing them. But since smelling nice is great, I am always looking for a unique fragrance that both catches people’s attention and smells like nothing else – and Tocca Florence is it for me. I got it from Sephora for $68, but the real reason I’m telling you about this is to encourage you to not just go out and buy it, but really explore finding your own fragrance. How I found this one is by getting one of Sephora’s fragrance sampler packages. It’s a great deal because you get a sampler set of 5-10 fragrances, then get to make the choice of which one you want to get with the full-size fragrance voucher that comes along with it! So not only do you get a full-sized bottle, but a variety of travel-sized fragrances you can carry around with you. And it’s an awesome gift! I buy the cologne version for almost every man in my life.

Get a Good Primer

As the weather gets warmer, ladies become susceptible to melting face syndrome – never cute. If you’re as oil-prone as I am, you need a great primer. Trust that I have tried almost all of them, and I will forever swear by Becca’s Ever-Matte Poreless Priming Perfector. Matte, Poreless, Priming and Perfect – all my favorite makeup adjectives in a single product, you really can’t go wrong with this one. I love it for those long days when you’re spending all day at work, and catching drinks with friends afterwards with no time to touch up in between. A caution – a little goes a LONG way. It goes on extremely matte (though the latest one I bought, not so much, so I think they might have adjusted the formula), so you want to use it sparingly. Good news is, one $36 tube will last you a loooooong time.

Buy Yourself Some Flowers!

I looooooooove flowers – so once it’s Spring and everything is in bloom, I always grab flowers for my window sill. It brightens up your space and really just puts you in  good mood every morning 🙂
