Tips for a DO BETTER New Year

Since we’re all still on that ‘New Year, New Me’ buzz, I thought it would be a perfect time to share with you some of the practical things I do to keep spiritually, emotionally and physically healthy.
Become a morning person

I know this is easier said than done, but there’s something about waking up early that I finds helps me feel a little more excited and positive about the day. I’m more cheerful, more productive, and I just find I’m a better person overall than when I laze in bed until the final alarm goes off. The key to becoming a morning person is very simple: go to bed earlier.

One Week of ClassPass

I like to think of myself as a purveyor of all things new and foreign. I’m open to trying anything at least once, and often regardless of cost. So when I caught wind of this amazing ClassPass deal – $19 for 5 classes – I had to jump on it, both for me and in order to share the experience.

I am an (un)certified product junkie, and it doesn’t help that some of my closest friends are the same. We are always swapping advice and ideas about what the best new products are, what eyeliner to use for the best wing, and which powder is the best for baking. But our most important discussions always center around what the best foundation is because… well, it’s the foundation. It sets the precedence for everything else!
Now, there are different kinds of foundation – powder, liquid, cream, powder-to-cream, etc, etc – but I generally gravitate towards the liquid end of that spectrum.

As the weather warms up (or doesn’t depending on the degree of global warming that has hit your side of the world lol) I always seem to become more prone to nasty breakouts and blemishes. April Health & Fitness Challenge

So forget a New Year’s Resolution – this year definitely did not start off as I planned health or fitness-wise (when does it ever? lol). But no point crying over spilt milk – this month I’ll be jumpstarting my journey back to being whole spiritually, emotionally AND physically, and I hope you’ll join in!
